A Ming style wedding cabinet, historically wedding cabinets were a center piece of a brides dowry. The parents of the bride would often fill these with new clothes to begin her life. The doors open with rain drop pulls each on a brass half moon back plate, when opened reveals two drawers. Paneled sides finish with an arched skirt, the back is made of planks of wood paneling. In the front a hand carved ribbon and scrolls decorate the skirt. Supported on straight square legs. Some minor wear consistent with age and use, by Mission Avenue Studio.
